Our Story
Boggled Escape Rooms was born from a passion for puzzles, storytelling, and bringing people together. What started as a dream has grown into one of LA’s most exciting entertainment destinations.
We believe that the best memories are made when people work together, think creatively, and step outside their comfort zones. Every room we design is crafted to challenge your mind while immersing you in an unforgettable narrative.
Our founder, Darryl Anka, brought years of Hollywood experience to create escape rooms that feel like you’re stepping into a movie. Combined with our dedicated team of game masters and designers, we’ve created experiences that go beyond just solving puzzles—they’re adventures you’ll talk about for years.

Boggled
Darryl Anka
Owner, Lead Game Master, Puzzle Designer Darryl has worked on a wide range of film and television projects in both creative and technical roles, including visual effects, model and miniature work, storyboards, producing, directing, and writing. He is also a science-fiction writer, bringing a strong focus on storytelling and world-building to everything he creates.
Erica Jordan
Owner, Puzzle Designer, Office Management
Erica’s background blends creative, practical, and operational experience. She spent many years as a dancer and instructor, later opening and running her own Pilates studio. As a film producer, she took on multiple production roles, managing on-set logistics and solving day-to-day challenges. Her work has always been hands-on, people-focused, and rooted in problem-solving.
Kenzie Baratta
Game Master Kenzie is an artist, translator, and game master with over three years of escape room experience. During her time at Boggled, she has contributed to the hands-on building and finishing of room elements, while also offering insight into puzzle clarity, player flow, and ways to improve the overall guest experience. Outside of work, she enjoys creative writing, foreign languages, and stand-up comedy, and can often be found playing video games, watching anime, or building miniature dioramas.
Skylar Chapin
Game Master Skylar is an Equity Union actor with over six years of escape room experience. During his time at Boggled, he has grown alongside the business, contributing to the building, repair, and finishing of escape room elements, and offering thoughtful input on puzzle flow, usability, and the overall player experience. He brings curiosity, care, and a strong sense of play to every game he runs.
